I bring 14 years of design thought leadership and product thinking to deliver intuitive and delightful product experiences at scale. I have extensive experience leading and managing cross functional design teams, and have expertise in launching products in international markets. In my current role as Director of Design at LifeLock, identity theft protection service, I lead UX strategy and vision for all LifeLock products. As part of the Chief Product Officer's staff I have oversight of product design, user research, and content strategy for web and mobile platforms.
I believe accessible and useable products share consistency as a salient feature. I led the effort to create a design patterns library at LifeLock and partnered with engineering to build reusable UI components to deliver a streamlined and intuitive experience across mobile and web platforms. This involved close collaboration with the brand team as well.
Most recently, at LifeLock, I created journey maps for the first 90 day member experience, identified opportunities and gaps and provided actionable insights to the business. I believe the best way to learn new technology is to immerse oneself in it and to this end, I'm working closely with engineers to create LifeLock's Google Home and Alexa Skills app — for a security product this presents unique challenges.
I also established best practices for content strategy and user research that led to increased design quality and user focus. I believe collaboration leads to high output and I'm a close partner with product management, engineering leadership, business intelligence and brand teams.
Prior to this, I co-founded Neighborly, a local neighborhood chat app, to give away unwanted items. I defined use cases, created designs for the mobile app and also conducted user testing for rapid iteration.
Earlier, I worked at Deep Dive Design agency, where I consulted with Mint, Turo, Grand Rounds and Task Rabbit among others. I built the first mobile ticketing buying app in the ticketing industry when I worked at StubHub. My first job after my Master's design program at Carnegie Mellon University was at eBay. While at eBay I steered several high profile and challenging projects to successful launch. I led the design and launch of several eBay international sites and eventually led the global selling design team — eBay's flagship product.
